Plate Settler Maintenance

Plate settlers have few moving parts, so maintenance centres on keeping the plate pack clean, the sludge system working and the weirs level and clear.

Stainless steel (SS 304/316L) construction resists corrosion, so the asset life is long provided deposits are managed and mechanical components (pumps, scrapers, valves) are serviced.

A calendar-based schedule combined with condition monitoring catches issues before they affect effluent quality.
