Surface Water Clarification

Rivers, Lakes and Reservoirs

Surface water carries seasonal turbidity spikes, algae and suspended sediment. Plate settlers handle these variable loads and deliver clarified water for potable or industrial use.

Surface Water Clarification

Raw surface water from rivers, lakes and reservoirs varies widely with weather and season — storm events can raise turbidity from a few NTU to hundreds within hours. Clarification must cope with this variability.

Plate settlers, fed by robust coagulation and flocculation, absorb turbidity spikes and produce consistently clarified water. Their high-rate design means a compact plant can handle flows that would otherwise require very large conventional basins.

This makes them ideal for raw-water intakes serving municipal supply, industrial process water, or irrigation.

Key Benefits

Handles Turbidity Spikes

Robust performance through storm-driven raw-water turbidity events.

Compact High-Rate

Large flows clarified in a small footprint versus conventional basins.

Flexible Feedstock

Suited to rivers, lakes and reservoir intakes with variable quality.
