Lamella Clarifier Maintenance

Keeping Lamella Systems Reliable

Lamella clarifier maintenance follows the same principles as any plate settler, with particular attention to the closely spaced lamella pack and sludge hopper.

Lamella Clarifier Maintenance

The lamella pack’s close spacing gives excellent area efficiency but makes cleaning access and sludge shedding important maintenance considerations.

Keep the hopper and sludge removal working so the blanket never reaches the lamellae, and clean the pack before deposits harden.

Stainless construction means the pack itself needs cleaning rather than corrosion repair, supporting a long service life.
