A complete plate settler integrates several engineered components that work together to deliver stable, high-rate clarification. Understanding each element helps in specifying and operating the system.

Flow enters through an inlet distribution zone that dissipates energy and spreads flow evenly across the plate pack. The inclined plate pack provides the settling surface, while a launder or weir system collects the clarified overflow uniformly.

Settled solids slide down the plates into a sludge hopper for periodic or continuous withdrawal. All wetted components are stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance across demanding water and wastewater duties.
