The Challenge
A scheduled refurbishment required the main clarifier to be taken out of service. The plant still had to treat incoming flow and meet its discharge consent throughout the outage.
A permanent purchase was unnecessary; the operator needed reliable temporary capacity for the duration of the works.
The R+F Solution
R+F supplied a rental PSR plate settler, delivered and commissioned ahead of the shutdown. It carried the clarification duty while the main unit was offline.
The compact rental unit maintained effluent quality within consent for the full refurbishment period and was demobilised once the main clarifier returned to service.
