Produced Water Treatment

Clarification for Reinjection & Discharge

Plate settler systems for produced water clarification — removing suspended solids and residual oil ahead of reinjection, disposal, or reuse.

Produced Water Treatment

Produced water is the largest waste stream in oil and gas production, carrying suspended solids, oil droplets, and precipitated scale. Clarification is essential to protect injection wells from plugging and to satisfy overboard discharge limits.

Inclined plate settlers provide a high effective settling area for produced water treatment, removing solids and coalesced oil after chemical conditioning. Stainless steel construction resists the high salinity and corrosive constituents typical of produced water.

The clarified stream can be routed to filtration for reinjection, to disposal, or to reuse in enhanced recovery operations — reducing freshwater demand and disposal costs.

Treatment Challenges & Solutions

High Salinity

SS 316L construction withstands corrosive, high-TDS produced water.

Scale & Solids

Efficient removal of precipitated scale and formation fines protects injection wells.

Variable Flow

Modular designs accommodate fluctuating production rates over field life.
